Trivia: According to producer Raffaella De Laurentiis, pre-production for the movie initially began in Yugoslavia, but due to the political instability in the area, it was ultimately decided to move the rest of the movie’s production to Spain.
 

Goofs: Continuity: During the battle at the orgy, the camouflage body paint on the three warriors keeps changing patterns and alternating between fresh and dull.
